About the project
Agora, an online learning community built around shared knowledge and meaningful discussion, partnered with Level44 to create a brand identity rooted in wisdom, dialogue, and timeless ideas. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Greek public squares where philosophers, citizens, and seekers gathered to exchange thought, the platform needed a visual and verbal identity that captured both intellectual heritage and modern accessibility. This project included naming the platform, developing the full brand identity, strategic positioning, and a flexible visual system spanning emblems, badges, avatars, and digital touchpoints. At the heart of it sits a custom mark — an owl of Athena fused with hourglass, acropolis and the letter "A" — symbolising wisdom, patience, and the forum itself. The goal was to give Agora a distinctive presence in a crowded education space, combining classical depth with a confident, contemporary feel that feels at home everywhere from app icon to apparel.
